Café Moritz in Koserow

Because my companions stop here every time they go to the Baltic Sea, just because of the cake, I was a guest here. For me, it has a bit of "ice cream parlor flair" from back then. No SchickiMicki, just a nice little café. I find it very nicely furnished and decorated. Family. We sat comfortably together at the freshly disinfected table. It makes sense that I have to get up to choose the cake. I would have chosen or expected something completely different on the menu. So I stood in front of this cute showcase, full of all sorts of, incidentally, really large pieces of cake. I was obviously not the first to have difficulty making decisions and was given very friendly advice. It was really delicious and the smiles of the people were still inviting and visible thanks to the transparent face mask. Given the size of the pieces of cake, the prices are completely okay. If I ever want to go in that direction again, I'll stop by again :)

Service very friendly but the attention of the half masks was not very friendly. Did you only draw your attention to the fact that these masks are forbidden in MV, I only got the answer as long as nobody comes here to check. Hello people it can't be. They don't see me any longer anytime soon. I had my mother with me who is 81 years old.

Before our vacation, I looked around what you could do in Koserow. Everything I've read about Café Moritz on the internet is exactly right. Delicious cakes and the iced coffee a must. The Corona rules were also observed. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Great cafe in a nice setting. Much nearby (Karls Erdbeerhof, Stolz and other shops). Easily accessible by car. The ice cream is great here and so far, according to our tests, it has been in first place on Usedom. I like to come here.

I actually came because of the good reviews and my cream puff was good too. I was disappointed that there were only sundaes and drinks on the menu. And I didn't want to go to the full store for cakes. It also started well with a follow-up form for Corona where you have to sign again. So far it was also the first time that you should name all visitors. In contrast to other cafes, the tables were quite narrow. And the waitress only had a spit guard but no face mask, which I don't feel safe considering the number of guests from all regions. But what I've never seen are the passive aggressive responses to bad reviews. You can really save yourself that and it's just unprofessional. Edit: In times of Corona you can get creative and have a writable board with the current cake on offer. Then not everyone has to go to the store just to choose cakes. Above all, I was unsure whether there was cake at all, as it wasn't advertised anywhere.

Went like that. So definitely not a "4.7 with 1200 ratings" experience, as I said, more like 3 stars. Large water ice crystals in the iced coffee. The iced coffee itself had hardly any aroma. Cappuchino was ok but not tasty. The espresso macchiato was good! Loud audience, that's not what the store can do for that. But these transparent spit amplifiers, which are open at the top and only lie on the chin, instead of a real mouth-nose cover, I consider carelessness in view of the increasing numbers of infections. All the staff wears these things.

Absolutely the best ice cream parlor for my family and me. Great value for money, the service always has great sayings and your team is just as great. Stay as you are!!! You are our number 1!

The autumn mug and chocolate spaghetti ice cream were delicious. I didn't like the strawberry ice cream very much. I felt it was an artificial taste. I've already eaten better, tastier strawberry ice cream. The consistency of the ice cream is very creamy.

August 2020 - were this Sunday afternoon at Cafe Moritz in Koserow. We were also lucky and got a seat in the well-filled café relatively quickly. The staff very friendly and quick. So we didn't have to wait long for our cake and ice cream. It was a treat, totally recommended. We'd love to come back.

Heard a lot about Cafe Moritz and today we made our way from Zinnowitz. Ice cream was delicious and so was the coffee. The service was very nice, everyone in the team stays healthy. Will come by more often now when we are on vacation on the coast.

Very nice cafe, but with small flaws. Unfortunately, the spaghetti ice cream consists mostly of vanilla balls, the "spaghetti noodles" could only be guessed at. The vanilla ice cream was also very watery, but the ice chocolate was delicious and the service was friendly.

Everything perfect! The ice cream parlor convinced me years ago and today I was back after a long time. The ice creams taste totally delicious (I recommend the rice pudding and butter biscuit ice cream! ☺️) and the ice cream cups were also perfect. The service is very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for it to be well attended. The prices are fully justified due to the location of the café, the portions and the quality. The strawberries on my mug were wonderfully fresh. Thank you, we would love to come back!

The ice cream was delicious and I found the selection of spaghetti ice cream to be unique. The staff was nice. It took a little while for the ice cream to come, but it tasted very good. I can definitely recommend the café.

A very personable nice cafe in the village. Live music was also played here in the evening. Lots of delicious ice creams. Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the cakes and coffee were not convincing. For a cup of ice cream it is recommended :)
